The facts are these: CO2 is a “trace gas” in air, insignificant by definition, 1/7th the absorber of IR, heat energy, from sunlight as water vapor which has 80 times as many molecules capturing 560 times as much heat or 99.8% of all "global warming." CO2 does only 0.2% of it. Carbon combustion generates 80% of our energy. Control and taxing of carbon would give the elected ruling class more power and money than anything since the Magna Carta of 1215 AD. Most of the money spent on healthcare or the military is REALLY to create jobs first, and security second. The u.s need no where near the size of the military it has now. A smaller force with a good nuclear backup will keep the u.s safe. Now if we wish to continue cavorting across the planet in failed quagmires blowing 4 billion a month for some war, well you're going to be in debt forever. We have paid into the Social Security Program all our working lives and they have misappropriated these funds until it is now going broke. Those of us that are now depending on these funds are worried that the President is going to decide to withhold those payments.
